As a serial entrepreneur, I have created award-winning images and founded companies that impact the environment.
Traveling in extreme conditions, he captures endangered animals in their natural habitats in places like the Arctic and the Antarctic.
For the past 15 years, Roie has been exploring and documenting our planet’s wildlife. His photographs get extensive exposure worldwide, millions of views and frequent appearances in the media (BBC, PBS, National Geographic and more). The documentary "Snow Bears", in which Roie worked as one of four cinematographers, has been broadcast on BBC and PBS around the world. His photography projects were presented in local and international exhibitions, featured in exclusive magazines and honored with many international awards over the years.
Roie: “My greatest life passions, nature and photography, take me into the wild.
As an adventurous wildlife photographer, I travel in extreme conditions to the most remote places on earth, capturing images of rarely viewed animals in their natural habitats.
My lifelong mission is to raise awareness to pressing environmental issues, by taking pictures that were never taken before.
I am also honored to serve as a Greenpeace ambassador, calling to protect our planet.
